So I had my Check Engine light come on and the cruise light started to blink at me the other day and I brought it in and the cod was "Nutral Switch High" the car ran fine while the light(s) were on. I had it cleared. So Im wondering what the heck the code means?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    thanks.

neutral safety switch broken or faulty?

Didn't you have some transmission work done recently?

only effects cruise, there's a 4pin grey connector on the top of the transmission, make sure it's connected all the way.

that's for 02-04 wrx, there are currently no recalls for 06-07 wrx

The neutral position switch doesn't effect drivability, it's just used so you don't set the cruise when you're in neutral. It's a normally open switch from GND so it means it's either disconnected or isn't being triggered when you're in neutral. The ECU is pulling that line high and when the switch is triggered, it brings the line down to GND or low.
