So being new to the car scene, I've heard this term a few times so I figured I'd google it. I typed in "hellaflush definition." I got a few pretty good explanations from urban dictionary and such. THEN i flipped over to google images and that hit it home...there are some pics that literally made me laugh out loud. No offense to those members that dig (no pun intended) that look.

Oh, I mean all the offense in the world to those members that like that crap. It's a stupid car fad that needs to die off.

It's really annoying to me to see stretched tires and hammered out fenders. It makes it look like you couldn't afford tires that were big enough for your "rimz". Not to mention you look beyond poor and stupid when your hammering your fenders instead of rolling them properly.

Careful, you're baiting the "it looks good if done right" retards now. There's no right way to put the wrong size tires on your wheels.

Wow, I guess I am old, here I thought Hella Flush was having a low offset rim that makes them flush with the fenders.

it use to be but people kept trying to go lower and lower which is why stretching tires and super camber started appearing. unless they come up with some plastidip to replace the tires i don't think they can get much lower that were it's at.

Ha! I just had to look that term up as well! I actually like that look except the blacked out headlights and tail lights...that's just dangerous. Matte Black is especially cool looking. There is a video on YouTube of a sweet matte black 2010+ hatch.

Slammed is when they're sitting on the ground due to either cut springs or airbags. MN3.6R has the definition correct. You can usually find both "hella flush" and "slammed" on the same car.

Said car will take 10 minutes to get out of a driveway and will likely end up high centered on anything larger than a dime.

I wouldn't go that far, I have a decent knowledge base on a few things but I wouldn't dare to call myself an expert on any of them.

Newb away, people have to start somewhere. Besides, you actually went and Googled this before you posted about it which is something that happens at the same frequency as Halleys Comet coming by for another pass.

Its obscene....Don't get me wrong, I like a low car, a car low enough to function! If you have to worry about your beads popping off in a turn, or scraping RIM while taking a turn, why in the sweet **** is that considered cool?

All cars have 'stance'. some cars have stock/factory stance. some cars have off-road stance. some cars have aggressive/track stance. and SOME cars have retarded/non-functional/herralameflushtard stance.

    from jalopnik:

    1.) Stance

Stretched tires, tons of negative camber, and suspension slammed to the ground. Driving a stanced car is like commuting to work on a bicycle that's on fire, or showing up for your school photo in a speedo and a rainbow wig. It's such a bad idea that you just applaud the commitment. Your average road user is less forgiving and will think your car is broken.

I can see the appeal if you try to taste it with the same spoon you use to taste rat rods... Except, you know, rat rods are way better in every way.

Oh, how adorable. He has staggered wheels, with a wider wheel in the rear as if his car wasn't a front wheel drive econo car. And judging by its 4+ inch lip, I'm guessing it is about a 10-11" wide wheel. But my guess is he has a 225 or 215 stretched over it. Bumping into this guy at a car meet would likely cause me to say something out of line.

Wow, it's just another foray into the realm of retardation. Just like pants hanging at the anus level.
