I do like going fast but i'd get hurt on a bike so i don't even want to try.... but the thought has crossed my mind quite a few times
Just care to see ya another day I guess ... don't wanna get all sentimental but yeah you and I need to keep it to 4 wheels on the tarmac
that sucks big time! I honestly would dump that engine, get out what's still good and get a used USDM engine on ebay from a donor or look into some JDM options, but that would probably require extra wiring work. I don't know I am just throwing ideas around. We don't even have emission around here so you don't even need to worry about not having an obdii.
I guess stock EJ257's can't boost high without oval'ing the walls??? Time to find a closed deck EJ22T? hahaha I DO wonder if having the block closed deck with the CNC Billet piece pressed in will help it. This is just the top, so it might oval in the mid-section of the cylinder.
I was also thinking it might be time for a 22T block as well... It might oval the mid section of the cylinder you are correct. I'm going to try and research maybe a better way to get to 500whp without having to go to 28psi.... There may not be a way but if its out there im going to try and find it. Basically my biggest problem with these motors is not handeling that high of a boost pressure. So if there is a way to get the desired HP without having to run as much boost..... hmmmmm
Fox body mustang with some spray, you could have half a dozen or so 10 second stangs with the money you have put into the sti
Uggg i know ohh well i dont have that many mustangs becuase then i would probably have 6 times the headaches too...
Not true. I've met a number of them who couldn't count to twenty if they left their socks on, let alone try to spell Camaro.
a twinscroll 40r or s366 will get you there easy. ron was at 400whp at 16psi. i was at 450whp at 23psi. our kits should be able to do it easy but we are in the middle of testing them now.
I know ur kits are sweet.... but right now im faced with fixing a broken car. I think im going to do it right this time and do a sleeved 22t block with pistons, rods, bearings, balanced crank the whole works. then maybe after i pay off all my credit then..... i may get a chimera kit.
After quite a bit of thought, im going to go for a 22t build. No V8 no mustang no camaro. But Im saying right now if this motor blows im selling the car.may look into switching to E85 at this time too. we will see.
Hey if something works something works. Show me another car that can make reliable HP dollar for dollar. Hell a local guy sprays his and makes like 700 whp and never has to fix anything.
