So I got some new injectors from Deatschwerks a few months ago and finally got around to putting them in. Well, I ran into some problems. Below is a pic of them side by side... :ugh: Notice the difference in length. Well, when I went to put them in, it only went this far... I didn't feel it "pop" in, and it basically fell out when I went to pull it out. I looked around the opening to make sure I hadn't dropped something in there like an idiot. then I noticed this... It's a crappy little tab thing on both sides of the injector (180 degrees from each other). These tabs aren't on the stockers so I immediatly went to Deatschwerks' website to make sure I hadn't F***ed up royaly and ordered the wrong ones. I have the right ones according to the website....they even say, and I quote, "100% drop-in fitment - plug and play with no adaptors"... Well....any ideas. I plan on calling them tomorrow if no one here can come up with anything. Thanks ahead of time for lookin everyone.
you've gotta be F***ing kidding me!!! I don't have DOHC to answer your ?. I take it there's no F***ing way those'll work in my car??
It's not that (they're gonna send me the new ones believe you me, that's not the problem)...it's the fact that my car is outta' comission until I get the new ones...(long story, don't ask)
