So last year when Nuke tuned my car we were having timing issues. What all plays a role in the timing? Cause right now the only timing advance I'm getting is from knock correction.
gas, air intake temp, air fuel ratio, load, mechanical issues that the knock sensor may pick up. (if you have a built motor with bad piston slap, you may not be able to run as much timing because of the noises the knock sensor picks up)
Everything has an effect on timing. Answering your question is like trying to answer "What has an affect on the weather?" Assuming you are using RomRaider, knock correction is basically logging the timing advance table. Logging the knock correction parameter will give you your timing advance value unless the car is currently pulling timing due to a knock event or a learned correction.
Feedback correction (timing pulled from current knock events) Fine learning correction (timing pulled from previous knock events)
