I have a 2003 WRX and I have it at stage 2 for mods right now. I was wondering what you guys/gals recommend for spark plugs? I have looked all over the forum and havent found a real good answer. It sounds like I should go with Copper no matter what sense they are most conductive and because I don't mind changing plugs often. Please give me you 2-cents worth! Thanks
Stick with copper. This is the route I went after some research on here and NASIOC. One of the reputable members of this forum recommended NGK Copper so save your money and keep it simple.
^ Where should i get the copper spark plugs from and what's the brand? And by chance do you know what the model # is???
NGK PFR6G Buy from the auto store you feel comfortable dealing with. If you do not have one then check out Red Rooster, Lyndale Ave. S., for instance. Obtained info from search of this old thread which may make some of the regulars laugh. http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30027&highlight=ngk Install yourself and have fun! http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3017&highlight=change+spark+plugs
I know my car came with iridium, so I'm putting NGK iridium back in it. I've never had a problem with my OE plugs, why change what I know works? :dunno:
Ok thanks for all of the input. Now that I have a better idea of what to get I will go buy some new plugs today Thanks
The NGK PFR6G is the stock plug, they are the laser platinum?? Read this http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518633
