Alright clutch problems round 2. The car is a 2006 WRX with 110,00 miles, the clutch is an Exedy with about 4k on it.. only street driving. The problem is, when i step on the pedal i get a Squeak, can hear it from outside the car too. Secondly, when im driving and take it out of 5th gear then put it back in (clutch fully engaged), the gear grinds slightly. If anyone has any info i would love to hear it. thank you.

The cylinder itself is going out? ive read up on it a little and read that the bracket can break and squeak, but im not really sure. The sound comes from below the intercooler (top mount).

Check the boot over the top of the clutch pivot. If it is torn or missing there may be contamination on the input shaft. When the throwout bearing slides that is where the squeak comes from.
