soo i have noticed lately that my car has been kinda jumpy i guess you could say...i will start up my car drive for a little bit, about out of my neighborhood, and i will come to a complete stop and a stop sign and when i hit the gas it kinda jumps a bit? idk if that makes sense at all...but anyone had this problem before?

Reset the ecu. Unplug the battery, hit the brakes, reconnect the battery, restart it and let it idle for 15 minutes until it gets to operating temperature. I think it may be the change in the weather.

Only does it when its cold/not warmed up, no?

Also wouldn't hurt to clean the mass airflow sensor. Do you have a K&N in it?

For the most part, intakes = bad. As previously stated, it wouldn't be a bad idea to clean the MAF and reset the ECU.

Its a good place to start, anyway.

do you have a regular short ram or an actual CAI that goes into the fender?

If you do have a CAI, look at the filter, probably dirty as hell.

Also, goto NAPA or Checker or any auto store and get a can of MAF cleaner. Start there.

and clean your MAF since it's probably gummed up with oil and dirt.

didn't miss anything. I never assume that an avatar is the actual car. and all '02+ taillights look the same to me.

and saying it's an RS is very little help. and we still don't know what trans it has.

Ok, then it's even more important to replace the stock airbox. The RS's are even more picky when it comes to the MAF. I would never recommend replacing anything pre-maf. Some people have even had problems just by removing the snorkus.
