Sinclair right off of HWY 61 on the west side of Winona (right as you pull into Winona coming south on 61 it’s on the left) now has E85. They also have 92oct, but if you’re looking for 93oct, Gordies is the place to go!
I’ve oficially paid, and will likely meet you peeps at the pavilion since I’m heading from the way opposite direction. My +1 is out, and camping looks unlikely
Looks like I won’t be able to attend this year. With being gone this coming weekend and away from the baby, I need to spend some time at home. @tangledupinblu is your PayPal address still the same? I’d like to make a donation towards the event either way.
I am tentatively planning on coming down from Brainerd, Saturday morning the 25th to cruise with you guys is there any way I can pay when I meet up with the group since I’m not positive if I will be able to go yet?
We throw cash at @tangledupinblu every time we go, on the day of the cruise, because we always forget to pay before. It's pretty much tradition. That said, I don't think he'll mind if you have to pay on the day of the event.
I'm sure its in this thread somewhere but I'm assuming the closest place for 93 oct is the BP on Marie ave to the starting location? My fuel gauge has been hit or miss so I'm going to just make sure I'm right full when we leave
Last year some of you mentioned you were going to be stopping at Wal-Mart on the south-side of La Crosse on the way to Goose Island for camping to pick up beer and food. If you prefer a much larger selection of micro-brew and the ability to make your own 6 packs with a variety you should stop at Festival Foods on Copeland Ave. Its a straight shot from Copeland park heading south! We do also have several breweries in town that sell growlers as well and you can help support local business'! Ask for a sample and get you some fresh brew!
Hopefully will have my car back in time... Talk about bad timing I will try to make it either way, car or not!
Made a pit stop at Morries Minnetonka Subaru and GrimmSpeed today! Would you like to know what’s in the boxes? You’l Have to make it to the LaXCruise next Saturday! 8 days and counting!!!
The event stickers are done! They are a limited run of 20 in pearl white and once they’re gone they’re gone! I will have them for sale the morning of the cruise at Walmart in Inver Grove Heights for $7/sticker. 1 per car/couple please!
i'm still hoping to make it (and will know for sure Tuesday) but out of curiosity, has anyone ever broke down during these cruises? do we have a "band of brothers" mentality and never leave anyone behind or do ya'll just motor off into the horizon
Usually, there are a few people staggered in the caravan with radios. In the few instances where a car has broken down, someone has always stopped to help out, and the group was alerted. The group may ride off into the horizon, but you usually have a few people stopped to help get you rolling again. Keep in mind, the caravan moves slowly, usually under the speed limit, so catching up isn't terribly difficult.
of course not! i was attempting to judge the level of camaraderie with the group...actually, after breaking down last January and having a $450.oo tow bill i'm *very cautious* on how far i roam.
