01 RS for sale

Unfortunately I just don't really drive it anymore and I'd like to pay off my motorcycle. So the price just dropped from 9,000 to 7,500.

So guys, the time has come for me to let this thing go. I really just don't drive it enough and I have a good DD and a fun bike I just recently purchased. So here it is, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. But I'm asking 7,500 with all my spares in the garage that I can find.

Suspension and Brakes:

Leda Sport Coilovers (need a rebuild, it has Mike Wray's Ver. 6 springs and struts right now, I'll include the coilovers and throw on stock springs and struts so it can go places and so I can give Mike his shock back! )
Whiteline adjustable 28-32 RSB
Whiteline HD endlinks and bushings
Group N strut tops
Front and rear Strut bars

FHI 4/2pot brakes
EBC Red pads


Exterior:

Ver 5/6 front lip, rear spats (one got chipped pretty bad when Martin hit me), tails, corners, well, pretty much a ver 5/6 sti minus the hood and rear spoiler (it's stock RS style).
Stock RS rims (6-spoke) with Yokohama AVSES100 tires, they have only been auto-x'd once and I posted fastest time of the day

Interior/Electronics:
Hydra Nemesis Ecu with a dyno tune by Phil from element tuning (both pump (279 wtq, 246 whp) and race (325 wtq, 311 whp) at RS) and it was very conservative because the knock sensor was showing random knock and we couldn't pull as much timing, you could probably replace the knock sensor and tidy up the engine bay and make 30-40 more whp).
Prosport electronic oil pressure and egt gauges
E-boost 2 for boost control (it's awesome)
The gauge pod broke a while back, so they're just zip-tied in there right now
JDM gauge cluster

I think that is all the mods it has, now onto the bad...

The body has quite a few dents, it was hit by my best friends mom a while ago and then by Martin and people have just abused it over the years. So it has one noticable dent in the right rear quarter panel that would probably need a pop and a re-paint. Everything else is nothing different you would find on a 8-9 year old car.

When the car was being built it sat for so long that some animal decided to live in it. So the hvac system needs to be cleaned out. I don't know what this requires but I'm sure it couldn't take much more than a day. To be honest, I'm just lazy and want the car gone.

And the last of it, the speedo doesn't work, I believe a wire pulled out of the ecu when I was installing the gauges, if you know your way around a wiring diagram, I'm sure you'll find it without a problem.

ugh, this week full of swapped gc's for sale has tested my patience with my car If I knew I could get a quick sale on mine I would buy yours. But that will never happen. Nice car. GLWS

 

The chassis has about 105K.

And yeah, it's a Koyo with a 10 inch fan, I have another fan to put into it but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Just wanted to bump this awesome ride, and say I've seen these 2drs are holding thier value super hard on those auctions Ive seen lately, if someone wated a turnkey, this thing is beutiful, nice car man, very tasteful, nice numbers. :yumyum: With this Internet , and these forums, great people are giving these RS's a heartbeat that will last a long time Im sure.

Sorry for the crazy late response, but the hood is probably on some wrecked rally car somewhere. I traded my RS hood to Mike Wray for his rally car and since the car has a frontmount... there's no point for the scoops.

Thanks! I'm obviously not trying very hard because I really like this car. I just need some funds and I really don't drive it that much. My motorcycle is slightly faster and gets better gas mileage.
