on my 06 sti, I want to hook up the stock sub under the seat to my radio, anyone know what the wire colors are on it? I think I have orange / white / and black
Good luck. This took me a while just on research alone. And I had the harness plug for it. If you are making a harness from scratch, you might find the info you need on Nasioc and ScoobyMods.
im just trying to find out what the stock plug wires are. the one that plugs into the back of the stock radio. those are the wires im trying to figure out.
If you already have the sub can't you see the wires? Not trying to bust balls, just asking. I think that aftermarket component fronts + 2 squares of Dynamat (or equivalent) will yield better sound for less than the stock sub which is really "boomy/muddy".
I think somehow i'm confusing people. I had a stock deck, I have the stock powered sub under the seat. I removed the stock deck and put in a fancy one. the stock deck has a seperate plug for the powered amp. this plugged into the back of the STOCK deck specifically for the underseat sub. I have installed the new deck and works fantastically the only thing I have not connected, is the powered sub. because I have been unable to locate what the wires on the plug are (that attaches to the back of the stock deck)
I was hoping to be lazy. I did find one diagram, but it was for some other stock underseat subie amp i'll keep on a lookin
Honestly.. It took me 5 minutes to find this. Don't be lazy. Stock sub with aftermarket headunit. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13335030&postcount=18 Sub Pin-out http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9457034&postcount=5
