I've been looking to lower my WRX, slighty, with springs. I'd like to change the struts as well. That way I can just bolt up new units, instead of taking the factory ones off, changing springs, and putting them back on. It seems as though the KYB GR2 and AGX are the most common reccomendations. My question is, where can I find them? O'reilly, Summit, and a few other sites I've looked at don't offer them as an option for the 09. Thanks!

Have you checked out the GT Worx kit from RaceComp Engineering? I heard that setup is the way to go. One of the members on here (subytek) has it and had nothing but good to say about it.

GT Works or BC coilovers are the only good option for 08+. If you just want a drop than Swift springs are the way to go.

I have read good things about Epic Engineering springs and Koni inserts.

If I get those, I'll be saving a bit longer. ;) I have relatives in St. Michael. If I make it down that way, I might take you up on that,

I have the RCE Bilstein set-up as well. Couldn't ask for anything better. Mines a DD and absolutely LOVE these! Cloverleafs at 50+ :). I have a set of Eibach springs if anyone's interested. Cheap. Also have my stock 08 struts front and rear with stock 08 top hats.

I have stock suspension on my Toyota Prius and I can do 55mph in the clover leafs going up and down. In addition to that the Fiat 500 205mm tires can do 62mph in the same leafs with easy. LOL

If you're looking for better response get some low profile summer tires with stiffer sideways. Save the headache and keep your cheese in your pocket for seat time. Enjoy!
