Updated the 2nd post with the lineup. First car on scheduled for 10am, so first few cars show up before then if you can, please. Figure about 5 cars per hour. Tentative lunch break for the crew right around the middle of the current list. Day of sign-ups around 2:30 if things go smoothly.
I'll be down in rochvegas for some friday night shenanigans, let me know if you wanna cruise up with me sat morning...
Are you going to be running the rear wheel drives later in the day? Just trying to get an idea of what time to show up.
Definitely. shoot me a pm. I'm waiting to hear back form my buddy out of LAX to see if he's able to get off work and roll up too.
Is this open to the "public"/lurkers? I don't know anybody on here personally, nor have I been here long enough to justify going to a 10 year class reunion if you will, but am always down for an impromptu car show, especially one with loud noises and pleasant aromas.
Glen, roster is on post 2. Shane, we had to keep the same wheelbase/drive vehicles together to keep things flowing smoothly for Ron and crew. I also did my best to adress people's time of day preferrences. Krazylegs, for sure show up. It will be a family friendly, albeit loud, event.
So will day of people be able to run regardless of the car? I'm really wanting to find out what my mods do for power...
No worries Glen, the thread has gotten kinda long. Ryan, if you show up a little before the 10AM start time and have the cash, we'll try our best to fit you in - although I'm not sure at this point whether it'll be with the rest of the GDs or after the prepays have finished (~3PM). I'm not sure what you mean 'regardless of the car'?
Well you were saying that the rwd car will be near the end, I wasn't sure if they were going to re set up for awd cars. I won't be able to make it by 10, I will be working until atleast 1030. Wouldn't get to rs until at the very earliest noon...
Come by when you're done, around noon may be about the time that we're towards the middle/end of the GD's , otherwise I believe the plan is to open things up for 'day of' registrants after all the paid cars are done. But don't hold me to this, we are going to have to play things by ear a bit depending on how long the pre-paid people take to run through. OK?
Tshirts are in and they are comfy. Even for a barrel-chested woman like me. They'll be on sale at the merch booth for $15. Raffle tickets will also be available there. Limited quantities ranging in size S-3XL.
Sentra may or may not be ready by Saturday. Suppose I could dyno the truck (j/k, though that would actually be fun, should be about 460/810)
'tis cool.. it's easier to say I'm not associated with you guys if I'm at the end of the day. Has anyone picked a time to meet at Denny's? I gotta get my meat n' eggs on.
Chin the Jet-lag is nothing when compared to some of the prizes offered at the raffle. Go even if you don't get a dyno seat. You wont regret it, I made sure of it!
Say you don't suppose we could offer that as part of the raffle prize do you? Just imagining how much I could get done like paintng my house while I'm at the track going 170 mph thru turn 1.....
