Just got my 10 year badge today. I've been driving Subaru (or Saabaru) exclusively for about 8 years, but I was obsessed long before that time. I remember around 1999 or 2000 reading an article about the WRX coming to America. I lived in North WI at the time and thought a 4 door car with turbo and awd would be the perfect machine for me. I never wanted a truck like everyone else in my town. I wanted one for YEARS after that, but they were out of budget for a long time. When I graduated from college I flew to Chicago and bought my first one right at the airport! It was my graduation present to myself. On the drive back to Minneapolis I immediately forgot every other car I had ever driven. It was EVERYTHING I wanted! I still feel the 2002-2005 WRX/Saabaru are the best cars ever made. Just reminiscing today...
Well said sir! I am around the 14 year mark and my wife doesn't get it. lol I told her that guys have relationships with cars as well, she doesn't need to understand! Congrats on your 10 years and here is to the next 10!
