You have a WB02 to tune with? E85 will make good power, but I hope you have some real large injectors to go with those other mods.

You'll have an easier time tuning if you get rid of that "cold" air intake.

    Also: E85 rules.

You are going to get horse**** mileage, Mike.

Back when I ran the booze, I went from averaging 300miles/tank down to around 220miles/tank. However, the cost was approximately the same as my mpg drop so I ended up spending about the same for 105octane fuel when compared to 92.

Mike, like tom said you will drop milage quite a bit, i am seeing about the same... 200-220 miles to a tank, but the benefit is GREAT! 105 octane FTW!

i am running modded stock injectors ~750cc

well ive got dw 750cc injectors Aeromotive fpr. I bought the car completly totaled and some kids stripped the intake that was on it before me along with other expensive ussles(to them) objects like my damned hood scoop. So I have no stock intake. But the body kit seibon carbon and rims make up for having to replace a couple little things...lol well ive already got 140 miles to a half tank now Doing wot runs for loging like 30% of the time its running let alone I need to lean it out quite a bit so I am not really worried I filled up for $3.07 (3.07 FTW lol)

Is this stuff hard on engine parts, ie injectors, throttle body etc?

Will I need to constantly keep retuning?

From what I've learned it actually keeps your engine cleaner Keeps your egts lower and you can get a conservative tune that you could run at Least until fall and retune for that lower oct level in the fall. Maybe even one tune all year very conservative but maybe. Anyone correct me if im wrong. My tune will be always evolving though with RomRaider. I only drive minefrom spring until the snow flies soo thats all I've investigated.

Yup. Phantom knock is a biach to deal with.

Any time somebody starts to talk about the hybrid motors, I usually butt in and tell them it's a bad idea if they plan to run the stock 16-bit ECU.

Tell me about it, someone here has a hybrid setup that I've been fiddling around with. Took me a while to figure out those stupid knocks.:mad:
