12.5 1/4 mile??

    when I first bought my 05 sti I read up about it and researched it. One of the things I remember reading was a stock from the factory sti was capable of a 12.5 second 1/4 mile, and 4.5 second 0 to 60 time. I realize that it was a pro driver in favorable track conditions and I would never get close to that. But I am arguing with a co-worker, has anyone else read or heard that stat??

    13.5-13.9sec 1/4 and 4.4-4.9 0-60 depending on what mag u read.

    Ive read as fast as 12.8 never 12.5, 4.6 on the 0-60

    Fastest professional driver (magaizine) time I've seen was Motor trend with a 13.0 at around 103.

    Fastest stock nasioc/iwsti time I've seen is a high 12.8.

    0-60 sounds about right.

    In reality, you should be happy if you break a 13.2 at sea level... at Rockfalls, make that a 13.7 lol

    That or a civic and cut holes in the bumper.

    And yes, some mags can get reeeeally good times, but I would never want to touch them with my car just because of how badly they beat on them to get those times.
