15+ Exhaust Sound

    YouTube videos are not cutting it for me. Anyone have an Invidia Q300 or N1? I'd love to meetup to hear them in person.

    WRX. I assumed they would sound similarly but maybe not. Preferably someone with just a catback.

    yeah @subiexe mentioned that they have equal length headers. no moe rumble.

    EL headers FTW! I miss the rumble, but I like quick turbo spool. Also I don't have a 2015, but I've heard them and they sound great, I just have EL on my subarus.

    Functionaly the EL headers are great.

    My stock car does NOT sound like a Porsche :/ maybe once I open her up...still in the 1000 mile break in. But an exhaust is deff on my Christmas list.

    I mean more like a Porsche than a Subaru, given that it's a boxer engine with elh. Doesn't sound exactly like a Porsche. If it did, it would be a Porsche. :thumbup:

    @subiexe I found that watching the videos with headphones made a huge difference. Are you trading in your shagging wagon for a new WRX? I have the STI catback (what used to be known as SPT exhaust). I plan on meeting up next Tuesday, or if your in the EP/Bloomington or Hopkins area we can meet up sooner..

    I have the N1 on my brz. Catback. Its loud when it wants to be the rest of the time it is quite civil very little drone.

    Cool I'll see you next week Miguel. I haven't tried headphones, just computer speakers with the bass up high.

    N1 might be the perfect...in between civil and obnoxious. =)

    I have an Invidia Q300 catback on my 2015 WRX. Sounds a little like stock but a little louder and deeper. I love it since it's not buzzy or overly loud. I'm planning on getting a downpipe in the future and from what I've seen, the Q300 sounds the cleanest with a downpipe.
