My old man picked one up yesterday. I drove it bit Saturday and a little today. Gotta say, the thing drives very nice. Feels more refined and crisp than my 13 sti hatch did. They do look a lot better in person. But I still prefer my Raptor! Lol
Def couldn't ask for a cooler dad that has always been great to my two brothers and I. He's def a motorsports guy, at the age of 65 he still loves WRC, world super bike, Off road racing and more. We stay pretty involved together and are usually always tinkering with something.
These are the only pics I have right now. I'll try to snap some tomorrow. Most definitely a fun truck to drive!
Have you seen the before and after dyno numbers db performance did with they're supercharged one? Wow it would be way more fun after lol!
I was going to ask how old the "old man" is, but I see you already answered that. I would like to hear his thoughts about the STi after living with it for a few months, as I have thought about getting one (I'm 56).
Beautiful rides! I have driven my cousin's Raptor a few times, and if I weren't 5'5'', and had a different budget, I'd love one! lol. It was a blast to drive, and he also has been happy moving on from a ('11) WRX to the Raptor. My dad is about the same age and loves his WRX as well (02 wagon). As he has started getting ready to move on from the 02, he is beginning to look around, and I have been pushing for a STi for him, but I know the 370z has also caught his eye... we'll see. It's always fun to be able to bond over the "grown up toys". Looking forward to hearing more about how he likes it!
That makes me miss my raptor, I had a scab and loved every second of it, besides the 9 MPG and payment, but it was so much fun!!! Don't know how the early guys did it without the 6.2L
