we have 8.5 inches of ice on the lake. minimum maintenance roads FTMFW. not a lot of parking lots, but a lot of back roads. sure do learn how to drive fast when it is do or tree...
as soon as i get my 70-200 f/2.8 (yea before I said f/4 IS but I changed my mind again lol) I will have to hold a "snow action shots" photoshoot. neither my 17-40 f4L or 400 f/5.6L work very well for moving cars at medium range

Yeah, I traded the girlfriend a quick target run for some snow lot fun. Needless to say, the Spring street lots have already been molested. :biggrin::biggrin:
was at the normal place with everyone else, ford explorer drives right up to me, rolls down the window and some 50 something guy shouts that at me. I think he later added "YOU GUYS GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT ****ING NOW"
If I were only in town. I like to hit the office building lot north of CostCo. Clears out right at 5pm. There's also a vacant lot on the north side of that fronts an empty retail site.
Yeah I didn't see him and kept going around:laugh: He looked pretty pissed when I came back around. kinda sucked. drove all the way to FS and then 20 minutes of fun? ended up stopping at the open lot next to my office. video isn't so good, but I can assure you i was having fun.:biggrin:
I saw you! right when you turned off industrial onto hennepin. I was turning from hen onto insustrial to pick up urabus vids, who accidentially got left behind in teh exodus. there were probaly 10 more subies behind me. Iw as kinda surprised ther we all ended up in that little lot off hen. Heard that the old guy called the popo on us. went to the spring lot and it was int eh process of being plowed. I think we should have waited till that plow guy had left (1 or 2 more hours) before we ht that place then the old guy probably wouldnt have shown up. I ended up hitting up a sweet parking lot on the way home with Urabusvids and EJ22TIM. having fun then a plow truck comes in. tell us he is going to another lot. have some more fun.... another plow truck comes through and drifts around us and leaves lol. really cool guy IMO. they went and plowed other lots and left us to our fun. got some AWESOME video too. Urabus will need to upload it soon.
