So I have been thinking of a few modifications to my 05 WRX. I was thinking of the Blouch EVO III (16G), 750cc FI, TurboXS or Perrin TMIC and a new fuel pump. Is anyone currently running this set up? If so, could I check out? Would anyone recommend anything different? Thanks for your help...
Nice combo, especially with the TMIC. I ran the regular 16g on my 04 wrx and loved it. The only thing I'd add to the mix is a Grimmspeed boost control solenoid or a GM BCS.
Yea, you def. aren't going to want to run those mods on the stock exhaust system, you will just be holding yourself back. Btw - Retreif just achieved 666 posts....its a sign.
"6-6-6 the Number of the Beast Hell and fire was spawned to be released" I think if you are going to ask a question like this the current modlist should be included. That one guy, what's his name with the sticky said something like that...
Just ignore him, he has never known what he was/is talking about when it comes to subarus, and probably everything else in life.
Nitrous as well, two of the big bottles, also probably going to need some 17x10 wheels to really get some meat on the pavement for that 16g powah.
Yeah...the exhaust is already done (Cobb TBE, Perrin UP). Just looking to take the next leap... 18G too big for the 2.o? Besides headers, is there anything I could do to increase the torque of the 2.oL?
Let's just go with this rule for you from now on: If it involves anything technical/power/advice related, you don't post anything.
Nuke recommended it earlier, and I'll say it again. Check out the FP HTA68 for your turbocharger choice. Headers won't do anything for you at this power level.
Meh on the headers. the 16g will give you some pretty good torque numbers on the 2.0L. depending on tune you should see anywhere between 255-270wtq...that's a huge difference from where you're at now.
Also, as a couple people mentioned, the HTA68 is the newest turbo from Forced Performance. Here's a somewhat good thread on it... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1744361 Honestly though (just my opinion). I'd start to question to longevity of the 2.0l block with the power this turbo would/could create up top. (If you're trying to maximize the true HP potential of this particular turbo)
Lots of people make 500 whp on a factory exhaust manifold. It is not a proplem for an 18g. You clearly have little to no understanding of fluids, pumps, or compressors, let alone modifying cars. And its duct tape. kthnksbi
