2 members at the same place!

I took my fiance and my grandma to eat at the Willowgate Restaurant in Roseville the other night and a dude with a MNSubaru sweatshirt walked in with some buddies--totally weird, right?? Well, it was to me. When we were leaving, there was a souped up WRX I couldn't take my eyes off of. Too bad I wasn't in the Impreza--had to accomidate Grandma! I don't think she'd appreciate bouncing up and down the whole ride! Anyhoo, funny story. :biggrin:

The Willowgate was one of my first restaurant jobs. I called and talked to the owner a couple of months ago looking for a recipe for fried bananas. We had not seen each other in 20 years. Most of my friends in high school worked there too. They were great people to work for. I haven't been there in years. Hmm... maybe tonight.

I think it's kinda funny that the name is Willowgate II when there is no longer a Willowgate I.

I'll have to keep an eye out for peeps there.

My fave place for dinner--Cream cheese wontons are the s%#@!

 

They have the best hot and sour soup, mm mmmm good.
