2001 2.5RS NA 4EAT swap to 93 Legacy 5MT

    I know. But that mount is messed up. At least with the STi Group-N's it will be an accurate feedback. This is probably parts that shouldn't be moving. I'm all for stronger bushings, mounts, and endlinks in my car.

    I've already got strut tower bars on the way and plan to get rear sway bar, front and rear end-links, and fender braces - as a start, along with the tranny mounts and possibly engine mounts and pitch stop.

    That's kind of the suspension plan for the next year.


    Oh, and I was hitting the pin pretty stinking hard. :)

    Don't forget, those pins came out of my front axles like butter. ;)

    Take the axle off of the stub and rotate it 180* and then try and put the pin in again. It should go right in for you. The way that the splines are setup they will only line up 100% one way, even though it may look right on the other way.

    Tried that on the driver's side and it didn't make any difference. :ugh:

    Bump from slightly from the past, I know. But - now that I've gotten used to the 5MT, it definitely moves through the RPM's slower. Definitely got me craving moah powah. It's still better, of course, but I can feel the difference.
