2001 Subaru Outback 2.2l exhaust

    I'm trying to help a co worker get her car back up and running and is in need of a new catalytic converter for her 2001 Outback 2.2l. I'm having some trouble finding the parts and or part #'s. Rockauto shows only a few parts for this make/model and am wondering if it might share the same exhaust as another make/model subaru?

    Lots of my searches come up with impreza outback 2.2l converters. Did the impreza and outback share the exact same exhaust for this year/model outback?

    Stumped I am

    the first cat is the same on all 2.2l's i believe, i know they all look identical. i have one from a older 2.2 in my garage.

    If its a legacy outback and its a 2001, it didnt have a 2.2. 2000+ was the 2.5 or 3.0. Thats probably why you are having trouble.

    That cat section looks to be the same. Because I put on an OBX header w/ cat delete on a '00 Outback. Works just fine.

    Thanks all, i'll have to get more info on the car before moving forward with anything.

    I'm guessing its probably a 2.5l then.
