Looking like I may need a new ECU.
    Anyone?

Looked around a bit, Subaru genuine parts lists them as discontinued, true or not, I likely need it, one way or another.

Car won't start, cranks, but no output to fuel pump.

Scan tool won't connect to ECU.

Cool, I'm gonna try a couple things tonight to try and confirm it is bad.

I'd rather not change it if not, as there is a custom tune on the one I have, and I don't think I have a backup program.

Do you know if either of yours have a tune or updates etc?

How about a fuel pump controller.

Pretty sure I have it narrowed down to that, or the ECU.

Don't worry about it for now, thinking I have a wiring problem.
But since you asked, it is under the passenger side rear panel, in the trunk.
    Behind some metal.

Under the interior panels in the passenger side of the trunk.
Don't worry about looking for it for the time being, I think my issue is wiring.
