I drive on Rice Lake rd every day, the sti is clean and is an sti, it has all the good stuff, I have two tone t-leg, the title is clear but a car-fax shows a prior salvage.

The only reason Im looking for a little more clarification is because if I were to pursue the car I would need to know all the details as I would most likely finance the car and if I'm not mistaken, banks dont tend to offer loans on salvage titled cars. Now I would assume with the damages the car has had previously, with the minor frame repair and all, I would assume it would have a salvage title at this point but if you believe it is clean then the repairs potentially could have been done out of pocket or maybe the previous owner had some sort of hook up where they avoided going through the insurance? so If you could please elaborate a little on your last comment that would be greatly appreciated to both me and any/or other serious perspective buyers. Thanks for your time

the bank will give you a loan on it but it would be a percentage (like 15) less then the book value and that is only if it shows up in the dmv, they will say it is your job to do a carfax on it. but even if it is they will still finance you.

You should be able to finance and insure a salvage vehicle no problem.

I bought it damaged, and fixed it myself, there are no hook ups. I don't know what done out pocket means, and I don't know what insurance has to do with it. The car has been fixed with zero problems for 44000 miles.

Someone needs to buy this before I get too tempted and try to sell my car...

Checked what insurance would be on it, and it ended up being almost exactly the same as my wagon...of course that varies from person to person...gah! GLWS!

I did, I had to replace my 02 WRX that got rear ended by a taxi on the freeway. The car pulls hard, I am going to have the rest of the body work finished up on it, overall I am pleased to have a happy ending to losing my WRX.
