2006 sti CEL pop on and flashing cruise light need help plz!

    Hi guys I was driving today and suddenly my CEL came on solid and my cruise light starts flashing. I've checked other forums but the guys were all talking about their aftermarket parts causing it to do that. Mine is all stock with a hks bov, any ideas on whats going on?

    Go to a parts store and pull the code. That is the first step. report back.

    Yes if you go to a local shop like checker, they'll read the code for you. Then you can post the code back on the forum or google search it. I found a lot of info on my codes using google to find NASIOC posts. Either way the parts store should be able to read your code for free.

    your cruise light is flashing because of the CEL. Manufacturers have made it so that you can't ignore the CEL light anymore.

    Anyways, have the code checked and that will give you a idea on what is causing the code, then once the code gets cleared, your cruise light will go back to normal.
