Yea dealing with that is a pita.. Is there anyway to track back where the motor was bought from? (probably already thought of.. like you said, he said she said) but if they bought the motor from there, there must be ties. Like getting blood out of a rock I hear.
Just outta curiosity, was the person, white, asian, black So they got the dude that did this? Just curious, was he hmong too?
Idk...never met the fool. They won't bother trying to book the guy. We have no actual proof that they stole it, says the officer. All is well...not really!
Man, sorry to hear this. You would think that they could try and track where he "bought" the motor from to clear him, not just let him go! Really sucks. I had almost all my tools stolen from my trunk and garage a while back. I felt like it was such a waste of time to contact the police. After they left I knew nothing would happen. They probably never gave it a second thought.
OP- I think you are missing the point. Getting the media involved is actually a good idea. They can run stories about how the SPPD doesn't care about cars getting stolen...you'd be surprised at how quickly bad press causes things to get done. It sucks that it works that way, but it does.
That's how I feel at the moment. I'll just let it come to him. In time. I wouldn't even know how to start it with the media. Lol.
Lol why not? It'll be more fun with a posse of loud rumbling monsters driving up to his house. Jk I don't even know who or where he lives.
