I am in the middle of chang8ng the pads on my front brakes. The bottom pin was totally stuck. After lots of banging and cleaning, I have it moving back and forth about 3/8" and can spin freely. However, I am unable to get it to pull through the caliper. I am afraid I peened over the end of the pin.

All the tutorials I read/watch all say the pins pull out easily.

What can I do to finish this job?

Buy new pins. Then you can cut/destroy the old pins.
Then use a drill bit to measure the upper pin holes to resize the lower pin holes.
A tiny (and I do mean tiny) bit of anti-seize during assembly will help it come apart next time.

So just cut it in half and send the each half out instead of through. Sounds good to me.

Whatever you need to do but yea, probably cut it in half. Just do the damage to the pin as it's easily replaceable.
