hello, i am a very new member but everywhere i look i see there is not an official video feed on your website. Talk to me more about filming an official video becuase thats what i do. Look foward to many events in the future.
LOL.. wow I just posted this thread.... http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15398 about something like that.
(Somethingswrong) is from Rochester and I believe he is planning on getting the local guys together for this trip! You should get in touch with him about convoying, that is, if you are wanting to be added to the list! As far as video, I have some pre-determined video locations that I'm needing volunteers for. Pm me if you are interested!!
Just looking for three volunteers to journey out early on Sat. morning(June 23rd) and set up camera on tri-pod at three pre-determined locations...throw the camera/tri-pod in the back seat after we go by, and catch up so you can convoy with the pack the rest of the way. I would probably have radio/phone contact with these people to let them know when to begin filming. Would be great to get an event video, and then contribute the vid to the making of a MNSubaru 07 video to cover the year...Matt(mlgez) is trying to put it together right now in another thread. Back to the topic, if you have a decent digital cam/dig.vid.cam. and wouldn't mind driving ahead of the pack, pm me to volunteer! kThanx.
Hopefully 10 or 15...could clip them together in the edit, or just use the best ones...it would be too easy to make an hour long video. Hahaha, we'll try to keep it to 10 to 12 minutes....I think. Nobody is on an official list for the in-car vids...was hoping everyone would do it and e-mail the video footage to me or the editor. I plan on setting up something in my car, the camera I have takes like 15 minutes of video with the card I have. Plan on just letting it go, whatever I get, I get...
Not sure if you have been following the changes in this forum or not but I am sure if the forum is trying to turn into more of a CAR CLUB then street racing will definitely not be encouraged during club events (especially after watching your driving skills on your video, I for one dont want a part of encouraging you or anyone else killing someone or yourself) ... thats the sort of stuff we DONT want as a Club that will be trying to be established as a mature, professional, local club... my thoughts...

La Crosse good if any of you people ride BMX, skateboard, or hopefully not fruitboot (rollerblade). There is a free concrete skatepark right by downtown. Just thought id let you know. Im planning on bringing my bike, and Haynie you can bring your bike too cause im guessing your car still wont be done.
Some of you guys going might want to make it an over-nighter! La Crosse has alot of fun stuff. The hiking up by Grand-dad's Bluff is +1!! Probably some good off-r0ad biking too, for the mountainbikers/trailriderz! But you would have to ask him^^^for details! Also, camping spots galore!
This is nuts!!! We will have what? 55 subaru's all rolling down the highway.....Do we need police escort or something? It will be funny if HP pull us all over thinking we were doing the "Gumball" race :laugh:
LaCrosse, eh? IF (big IF because it's olny two weeks after the Shooting Star rally), I were able to do this, I could be convinced to take a small number (<5) of people to go look at some very nice gravel roads, could maybe even be done during the time that the rest were to be hanging out in LaCrosse and meet up on the way home. Not talking about any forest hooliganary here, just a reasonable, respectful tour through some of the best gravel roads I've ever driven.
For sure im gonna attend, as soon as i get my car gets done im game. Gonna bring my BMX to ride also.
as long as we don't act like a bunch of *******es on the road, the cops have no rights to harrass or pull us over...unless they are cocks and want to.
dipp-added to the list! LVT- We will possibly be contacting MN State Police, WI State Police, and La Crosse P.D. We don't want anyone upset with what we are doing! To let them know ahead of time will give them the ability to prepare for our arrival. Should I add you too? Hallywood-This is the shelter that we have\/\/\/....yes, rain or shine or tornado, this party is on! If you're not on the list, here is your chance! Make sure you put in your vote on the EATS poll...lmk which you would prefer! Link>>>http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15308&page=3

we should designate a spot in the mall...so that u don't see a whole bunch of Subarus circling the area and have 5-0 get suspicious
All I can say from experience is, don't be dumb in and around the Downtown area. Everytime I drive somewhere I see about 2-3 cops roaming around. (I go to school in La Crosse) As long as everyone is smart, we'll be fine. Otherwise the LAX Police don't have many better things to do.
