Beth will be with, she will be in my car, so if the list is just a car count you are good, if it is a head count you are missing her.
This count is for cars only!!!...I put the mixx on there with the hope that "t3h bUiLd" would be finished!
I will be meeting you guys in Wabasha off HWY 60. I refuse to take 61 through RedWing. Sorry, but I know you WILL have someone get pulled over if not the whole caravan. So, I'll wait at the gas station or off the 61 somewhere for the caravan to come through. I made the suggestion to you before when you asked, and I stand by it. It is foolish to take 61 the entire distance. 52 to 60 to 61 bypasses the stupid little towns and is alot more fun in terms of driving. :twocents:
in fact, I'd like to add Lake City to the list of podunk ****towns on that route. I drive this route OFTEN and I know those two towns well. Both are rich with dumb cops, stop lights and alot of nothing. I've been pulled over in both towns in the WRX for non-speeding related offenses.
I'm feeling that! Like I told ya at Firestone...the route is subject to change! I like the sounds of the curvy hwy60 route. My main concern when I went to La Crosse on the pre-run run, was the many little towns. So if we can eliminate half of the towns travelled through, then we might have to take advantage! Maybe after the Clark tuning day, you could accompany me down that way to check out video locations and what-not.
So if one of us gets pulled over, the whole caravan is going to stop and wait right? That would be funny, a line of 60+ subies on the side of the road waiting for a fallen comrade
http://maps.yahoo.com/index.php#mvt..., MN&trf=0&lon=-92.167053&lat=44.37295&mag=10 This was the route I was thinking of taking. Nevermind the 4 hours thing, I don't think it'll take that long to get to La Crosse that way. But if we start early and take our time crusing and enjoying ourselves, 4 hours isn't that bad of a stretch...especially if we stop along the way.
It doesn't look that much farther on the map...we'll really need to make the trip to judge the time. I have to make sure our departure time lines up with the arrival time in La Crosse with the caterer in mind.
I often take 61 from La Crosse to Woodbury on the weekends to go home from school and it takes me a little over 2 hours to get home. I would say that route would be about 3 and a half hours.
60 does have some fun curves, not too many that will surprise you but enough to make it interesting. And yes Mix, lake city cops like to meet new people. They have met me twice for window tint. (I work in L.C.). Btw if you guys do wanna do some scouting let me know, I wanna play too. And I know a little about the area.
is this an all out Subaru or others welcome?:ugh: I do own a Legacy but that thing is no fun to drive.... I'll have my other car come along....
We are trying to get all subarus for some video footage...but feel welcome to come, would rather see the Legacy, but...you know. And to everyone here that is signed up, there will be an upcoming RSVP for this event!! Don't know the exact $$ yet...but I'll keep everyone posted! kthnx!
