2007 MNSubaru "La Crosse Cruise"

I dont see why we would have to call it a mnsubaru, awdaddicts and thewoot event when it is being organised as a mnsubaru event... sorry, but most guys on all 3 sites are on 2 if not 3 of the sites. and if all that is stopping them form attending is the fact that its a MNSUBARU event then, personally I dont care... stay home... not trying to be rude.. BUT GIVE IT A REST!!!!

Josh is trying to get a MNSUBARU car meet together... but all SUBARUS are welcome and their OWNERS!!!

Until AWDADDICTS and THEWOOT make a 'CLUB' and hold CLUB events too, why would they all be lumped together when people dont want anything to do with MNSUBARU and the way its run or whatever it is....

I'm sorry, I'm just too new around here to really know whats going on with all that, but get over it already.

This sounds to me to be a subaru's in minnesota meet. Quit making it about one of the whackest internet feuds I've ever seen.

To be frank, I don't really care what other people who drive branded hunks of steel, aluminum, molded plastic and rubber think about me or the random geographic region I ended living in. So I guess the point of making a video to show the world what we're made of or whatever is kinda lost on me. But it sounds like a good time to meet some folks and have a fun drive to me.

Who care's what internet tribe this is supposed to be about?

 

i was merely stating that we could get more people together by inviting all groups together and that i would recruit some of the people on awdaddicts and t3hw00t since you want this to be a huge arse gathering.

Life's pretty crazy right now. But I'm sure I'll be able to free up some time once there's some more specifics with date/time etc.

 

Also I have 3 to 4 suby buddys that most likly will be joining us depending on the date we set.

again... from what I see... most thewoot guys still post on here... may be occasionally... but they still lurk... the AWDADDICTS forum is still new and I dont see how you could get a WHOLE BUNCH of guys from there as again.. MOST of them still are on here or lURK....

so again my point is.... its a MNSUBARU event geared to wards building this CLUB into a CLUB..... thats MY perception of it...

Justin I have a lot of thoughts on a lot of things, some arent worth getting into, we have chatted about soem of those things, I see your point, but again I have seen YOUR point, and your comments too... and all I am saying is I like you, you are a great guy, I enjoy working with you, but stop letting little things into your comments,... hey if you want to rag or continue your thoguths on AWDADDICTS and get a nasioc versus the other forum style thing going then do it.. awdaddicts is more geared to an OPEN forum, more than a controlled family safe one... (MY OPINION)....

all I want is to see
1. MNSUBARU become a CLUB....
2. AWDADDICTS grow in member numbers, variety of vehicles, and ORGANISED events...
3. THEWOOT... honestly... been on 3 times maybe... not my thing.. sorry but anal sex and free for all graphics and language aint my cup of tea.... and other than the fact a lot guys on there are already members on here etc... why does it need to be named in this event.. its NOT a car forum form what I understand!!

Dont get all prissy on me now Justin... I aint coming down on ya or anything, I aint out to argue with you, I value what friendship we do have to throw it all away over soem club names....

basically here is where I am coming from....

I have been here hthrugh the split, but even back then I wasnt gooey buddy buddy with anyone on either side, I know you more then the other side, but I have also been asked by the other side for input and help to develop the occasional get together (more at my shop), I dont know the gritty details in depth and frankly I dont want too... I just want to see the forum develop into a real club like the BMW, Audi clubs etc.... not some throw together he said she said pull down scratch your eyes out girls club.... which means, DUES, (ie membership), I htink both styles... a Non paying style membership much like it is now, and a annual FEE membership for those who want to be more involved and have more input and say in what goes on... also to help develop the site into a more visually appealling etce etc.... I am not one for piss up parties so thewoot get drunk and work on cars thing doesnt appeal to me.. great for thsoe who it does... but personally at 33yrs old and with kids, I would like to have more of a mature club, get together that also helps to educate and contribute to those around them a lot more then any of the clubs currently do!!! exceptions to a bunch of guys who are always willing to help out.. whether for free or a small fee.... I think everyone can offer something to this, whether its awdaddicts or mnsubaru... 2 seperate clubs made up of the same people in both mostly... hmmmm no wonder there is no HUGE club around... ha ha ha But I will state right now... I am a huge fan of htis site, I will be here for a long time to help and offer anything I can to see it grow, and I will also be on awdaddicts but this site has my attention 95% of the time....

Have you guys ever done or thought of doing an autocross event?

I know the porche/audi clubs are usually fairly heavily involved in such efforts. Although maybe I'm blowing steam because I have no idea what kind of effort or cost that would be.

 

a lot fo guys do... but we arent a 'club' per se yet and fees and insurance is high... I am sure there are more knowledgable guys with htis stuff that will pipe in here shortly

I am not sure how expensive it would be but dedicated t-shirts I think would be really cool. I think it would have to be an option though so it does not get too expensive for some people. Get a silloet of 2 or 3 different model year Subies on it I think would be neat.
