    i'm on the fence depending on the date. oh heck it doesnt matter i dont plan more than a day ahead anyhow, and it sounds like lots of fun so i'll sure try to be there! pencil me in!

    ok so apparently this thread exploded and i never noticed. i missed about 10 pages of it.

    do you have any footage of my car spraying gas on the dyno?

    we also have a ton of pics from ice races, and an official ice race vid from 05/06

    can we post this on other forums? if the even is getting this big perhaps neighboring states would like to join in? i know RS25.com has a decent amount of subie owners in Iowa and in Wisc. not to mention some of the USMB guys.

    i know some one who has been interested in making a official MNSubaru video, perhaps this will interest him.

    as for T-shirts/ect... i think it would be cool to have memorabilia for each event, ya know a "collect them all" type thing. perhaps a T-shirt might eb too much but i bet we could get some patches made or something pretty cheap. could sew em on your MNSubaru hoodie or something to show how many events you have been too.

    Im originally from La Crosse and currently I'm in school down here, but a year and a half ago my parents moved to Woodbury, MN, so once I graduate I'll be back in the St. Paul area.

    If no one minds an Evo rolling with, otherwise i'll have to steal someones suby! :p

    As for other forums...I was really hoping to keep this a MNSubaru only event. I would really like to get an event together with the MNSubaru members so we can all feel more involved and put faces with user names!:) As far as future events go, I think that an all Subaru event that was attended by Nasioc members, rs25, and any other Subaru clubs would be amazing!! You could be talking 100's of cars...maybe even thousands!?:dunno: It would be fun!! T-shirts were an idea for bigger events like Spring/Summer/Fall Run type events! Maybe 2 or 3 shirts a year kinda thing! My .02 cents.:)

    I agree with you Josh about making this a MNSubaru event...But that doesn't mean the other clubs can't join MNSubaru as a member and be a part of this event as well...As long as it ties in with MNSubaru and its Member's, I'm all for it...That's a hint for ya Martin...;)

    I have no problem supporting events and inviting other club members to join...But before we do anything like that, let's make sure we are successful in holding our own Event first...Don't wanna to get way ahead of ourselves...

    ps... so when are the new changes gonna really get rolling?? I wanna see some structure for Josh to work with... so far he is on track and going strong, but some guidelines for him to work within and for others to understand and to be able to distinguish this event form a get together to a REAL CLUB EVENT!!!!

    Josh and I chatted a whole bunch about the changes and excitement thats happening yesterday at my shop, but we also discussed what will distinguish us form a Firestone parking lot hangout to a CAR CLUB that is respected and trusted within the community online and off!!!

    other thought beside T-shirts. get some magnets made up, instead. then you could plaster your car in magnets for the events you have been to (gumball style).

    How about we hold off on picking a date until I get back with some open dates for shelter rentals and the diner info.!? Then it will be easier to set the date!;)

    But I would like to know now who would rather have it on Sunday instead of Saturday!? I prefer Saturday myself, but if the "group" would rather have it on Sunday, we can take that into consideration and possibly change it to Sunday! You're thoughts please!

    lets have it on Saturday. that way it leaves sunday for people to do normal sunady things like go to church or stay home. what ever people do to get rready for the next week ahead. also maybe after this people want to go down to University after? just an idea and my .2
