If they ran in the back of the pack, (so as not to contaminate the subie video ) I don't think it'd be a problem. Both the BMW club and Audi club are nice enough to allow subies in their events...
agreed. Just thought that the other clubs are very organized and with a couple of large meets this summer and we could get the club to the point to do open invite to bmw, audi, nasioc, and any other clubs that can be thought of. There will be other traffic with us...so they may blend in. Just as long as the club puts together enough subarus, it won't really matter if a couple of different cars are in the shots. Can't guarantee them a spot at the diner though! That will be subie central!:yumyum:
i was thinking more like a 8" diameter collectable event magnet. which would have a unique design for each event. of course they would change in size depending on design and what not. the large door ones would be fairly expensive and hard to store.
The large door one could be for the lead car! I don't know for sure what size would be best...maybe some other opinions, anybody!? I am also wondering if anyone works at a print shop or have the capabilities of creating a large banner for the event!? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
Added! Oh yeah, Josh...nobody has been nominated front car....on your marks, get set.......?????????..........try to catch me now sucker!!

just posted in the hookups thread about the magnets. i think who ever is leading should have enough will power to keep 5 over actually at 5 over. also i think that all the frum rolls should happen behind everyone, not infront like normally happens.
I really don't want to annoy anyone taking my Evo, so if you guys decide it's going to be all Subies, let me know so I can arrange a ride with someone
Yes...5 over is acceptable! Just want everyone to know that the Video is important to me and alot of others! We really want this to help in making everyone feel as that they are a part of something here with MNSubaru. And keeping the speeds reasonable for everyone will mean (IMO)better video footage if everyone is more "together!" I know most of us are looking forward to some new changes with the club! You're Evo is more than welcome...it is hard to judge one way or the other...but I still think that if we get enough subies, then the other cars will just blend in!

Will do Nate!...goal is at least 100 soo-bah-roo's!! Take lots of pics while you're there! Gotta go...dinner with the lady:yumyum:
<---- Tenative hand raiser  I really, really, want to come along to be a part of this, but I could only go on a Sunday... Sunday is my Saturday, and I have to many Saturdays off in the summer months to be able to take another off... If Sunday is the date then.... -Marc
damn damn damn the 17th is my birthday so I may be back home in Duluth. Plus I would not go unless I can find a passenger....hopefully I can find someone to come with me. Its sad that I don't know any cute girls that would want to come with.
Couldn't you swap a Saturday for the Sat. of the event!? The Sunday idea just works for so few people...I tried to give it a chance, but ultimately the masses spoke and said "Saturday!" I really hope you can work something out, this event should really be a good time! Take a quick look-see...it's not guaranteed yet, but I'm working on it! http://www.rudysdrivein.com/ <<<<<<<<<<<<<<You will love the audio...hahaha,sweeeet!thanx for the link Brent!
I know, kind of sucks, wish it was closer...but, with this much time to get it set up. We should be able to get this stuff reserved!! I checked on the shelter rental and it looks to be open on the weekends that I'm looking for. Date is still TBA...but I'll keep everyone posted!
So I talked with the Parks and Recreations guy in La Crosse today...May 26th is memorial day weekend, the shelter is open for reserving this day and also Sunday the 27th! If there is a three day weekend for everyone, would more people be interested in a Sunday or should we still plan on Saturday with the option of camping for the night at one of the local rv/campgrounds!? Or does everyone have plans memorial day weekend and rather have it on June 26th? Comments, questions, anything...LMK! Need some input asap! These spots are going fast!!
Still working on getting the guy at the diner to call me back...hopefully we can get that date with him also! And that is now 2 for 6/26/07!! Correction 3! Added the b-day boy!
ok, everyone's a go on that date? I'll check into locking it down! 12/11/78=....*awaiting the response of pksublime!
