Good morning! I was reading this thread... http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?p=607895#post607895 ...and I plan to change the manual transmission fluid in a '07 WRX Ltd sedan this weekend and was wonder what type of bolt the fluid drain is. Is it a Torx or regular bolt head? Thanks in advance guys!
Slide under the car right behind the front wheels. There should be a bolt in the tranny about there. If it is torx it'll have the star shape.
Thanks guys, looks like I'm heading to the hardware store for a T70! *edit* Did some searching online and it doesn't look like Ace or Sears sell a single T-70 bit, but Autozone does for $3.99 so that's not a bad deal.
I got all her fluids done today! Thanks again guys. Redline GL-5 75W-90 in the rear diff and Redline GL-5 75W-90NS in the tranny.
