    I've got two of them trimmed down. The bolt cutters nip them off like nothing. Although after 160 of them, my elbows got a little sore. They leave a nice sharp point too. I think I ripped a hole in my jeans rolling them around the basement.

    wow those are studded tires... i can't wait to see the traction you get on the ice...


    mostly scared you will cut the ice down and make the whole track sink w/ those things.

    Actually, you should be glad I'm there, because the studs can groom the course, chop up the ice a bit and make more traction for guys running all seasons.

    got my new w300's on. they ride a lot nicer than my old w404's, hopefully have better ice traction as well

    definitely. I remember the first year. We werent not able to stand up on the track towards the end it was so slick. we were walking on rich's track marks from his studs. its a bad deal when as soon as you step out of your car you end up on your back.

    Thats when your surprised that your car can actually move on that.. because you have trouble walking :p

    I have shoe studs for this one.. ill be able to walk on the ice w/out a problem.

    Yes well the person who brings the disc sled, tow rope, and reindeer antlers will have the least trouble moving on the ice ;-)

    how much ice is there? there has to be like 5 feet or some crazy amount. Are they driving dump trucks out there again?

    I cant wait to get my magnets. This will be awesome.

    there is probably around 30 inches, they havnt driven dump trucks this year yet. I think they will haul gravel this spring
