Even though this is the shortest month it feels like it is taking forever. Is there anything I can do or bring to help out? I have a honda 2000 generator for power out on the ice for lights or powering timing laptops. It looks like the track is a long way out on the lake.
uh huh.....so when I asked why people had to come running into our cabin waking people up at 2:30am....I get ripped a new one for ruining people's fun.....but now it's ok and everyone agrees. wow, thanks :-/ on a lighter note (or maybe not), I noticed today that my center diff is definitely not locking. I hope it's an electrical/vacuum issue and not mechanical! it would suck trying to run the course with a ULSD center (that would be UNlimited slip :biggrin: )
I agreed that the fireworks in the cabin were bad from the start. I didn't, however, say that this year was terrible because of it. It was better than last year by far in terms of mayhem. And I don't like cleaning up after other people's mayhem. Especially when those people weren't even staying in my cabin.
I have two of those industrial spot light things that can be bolted to stuff or clamped on to something to light stuff if we need. We aren't that far out on the ice though, the track usually starts just a few yards from the ramp.
Expecting to head out around 3 or 4, who knows maybe I can swing noon if I put in some heavy hours on thurs.
Rich let me know what you think about the generator. Either way works for me but I don't want to lug it up there if it's not going to be needed.

There is a chance. however I think that it blowing up is unlikely. chances are it will roll over though...
I might be up later friday then i had orgionally thought, my dad has a Dr. appointment every tuesday and friday at 3pm. So i get to drive up after dark adn get flicked off by everyone w00t

neither did I. I said I was extremely pissed for about 45 minutes when I was woken up at 2:30am. and felt sorry for those in my cabin who were gone long before I woke up in the morning. I believe that the Speedy Geo is not road worthy (whether legally, or just from the fact that it doesn't have any glass....), so will probably be coming up on a trailer. it may not return alive :biggrin:
