    (old as the internet, but still a good example of towing stupidity)

    Plus, not only is it not the best idea to stand where the tow vehicle is heading, as was demonstrated in your video, but it's also a bad idea to be anywhere within the radius of the tow strap, as if the hook comes loose, or a part gets pulled off or the strap breaks, it can have a lethal velocity.
