this year we are going to TRY to keep people off the main course until Saturday. I will make a 2nd course for the people who might have a drink or 2 and think they can take a 90 degree corner at 60mph

yes Gf's are invited, I can get you a private room for 2. There are probably around 10 people in each cabin more in some, but there is usually 1 cabin with mostly couples.

I think I might just drive up for the day for the january one this year. we'll see. if there's still space available closer to that date, Sarah and I might take a room for a couple nights. btw, last year, the 2nd event was approximately 75 MILLION times more fun (for those of us who wanted to drive). most definitely not #2
^ ditto. the conditions were way better at the march one. 60mph into corners and not braking FTW. Chux you left before it got real good. at about sundown we were putting down times that were shattering the ones we did during the day
yep, the 2nd ice race was a blast. It was a lot more organized so we were able to keep times for each run. The competition was great, especially running the course at different times of the day, running it backwards, etc. And the oval track was great too. If enough people are willing I think we should try to have at least part of this year's ice race organized enough to do some timed runs and keep track of the results.
I am definetly in on this! The 2nd ice race last year was the most fun I've ever had in a car. I may be bringing my roommate and her impreza too, so I wont reserve any spots quite yet.
I think I'm going to make my first appearance at one of these. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll be toting along a buddy as well so as long as we have at least a floor to crash on we're fine. Also, I think we'll need to be in a 'rowdy' cabin... one where people enjoy the presence of Jagermeister How much are Paypal fees on $80 for the two of us? I'll gladly add the fees just to keep from writing a check.
