Non rowdy for me. Or better yet, if you know that there's going to be a second ice race I'd almost rather go for that one if it ends up being like the second one last year. Maybe I'm a big fat verticle meat locker, but I'm still not all that keen on being around people doing tequila shots and trying to jump things with +2500 lb hunks of steel while shooting fireworks at people. :dunno:
I think there will be enough non-rowdy people at the first one to have a quiet cabin. And I don't think there's any guarantee a 2nd ice race would be the same as it was last year, that was strange how few people went to that.

I'm in, my bro probably too(hex2bit). We don't care where you stick us but beds would be nice. Keep the fireworks outside people...and off the cabins! lol I might have to bring some up though. If people wouldn't mind chipping in a little, we couple probably end up with quite a show, maybe a half dozen cakes, a bunch of mortars, etc.

Dont think he was moderating just stating what anyof the SOBER people in hteir right states of minds were thinking...ha ha personally I enjoyed watching from a far distance... it wasnt my engine that was trashed or frame or any other damage... I had enough to repair, just with normal spirited driving...
HMMMM, maybe we SHOULD have two ice races, the "fun" and then the all business "pg" rated ice race, srsly it may have gotten crazy last year, but grow thicker skin, nobody got hurt, nobodys car actually got trashed (whining about burn marks that will polish out doesnt count either) the ones getting rowdy didnt ruin anyones entire weekend, and if they did, i am sorry but suck it up.
i will do my best to make this one a bit more organized,this year we will try to get start and finish banners. and I bought a bunch of reflectors for the course.I think I still have 15 road cones
I'll be working with phi11 to get the start/finish banner made. No worries there. And some other assorted course banner-y
Of course, they spend more time devising cool banner-y for the ice races than they do working on the rally wagon ...
I didn't have any major problems from last year, it was a little more out of control than I thought it was going to be, but I was able to avoid the stuff I didn't want to be involved in and I had a great time up there. So as long as there is a quiet cabin for people to stay in and some time to do some serious driving on the course, I'm fine. But, if it's going to be a free-for-all the whole time, then yeah I might want to skip the first one IF the second one is going to be "pg".

agreed.... I didnt have any issues personally... like I stated I enjoyed watching stuff from a DISTANCE.... it was a good time and watching soem of the antics in thewoot cabin was quite funny....

Still not sure yet. If I find something else I like before then I might not but otherwise yes. Cabin 5 is way off the path right... that sounds like a good one for me.

LMAO, we have been talking about turning it into the "Ricer Icer" Do every ungodly thing to it we can think of without spending any real money on it to rice it up. Would make for some very funny pics.
