good god, jason, you're a jackass.....that's all. I'm not even going to try to argue anything with you because you've taken every one of my points and blown it completely out of proportion and context. There was a bunch of inappropriate behavior going on this weekend, you were not the cause of much of it (no complaints here....), so quit defending everyone else. what I would really like to hear, is the people responsible for those 2 things to admit it, and apologize, but I know nobody here has the balls for that. overall, I had an awesome time, despite the minuscule time I spent driving. but was extremely pissed for about 45 minutes Saturday night when a handful of people were extremely disrespectful. I thought (stupid me, apparently) that if something was mentioned, in the future people would give it a second thought. there was a lot of fun to be had, and if those 2 things hadn't happened, you (directed at those not man enough to admit that they screwed up) wouldn't have noticed. I guess the people who primarily want to drive their Subarus on the ice can't come to the MNSubaru ice races. lesson learned, next year I'll save myself a fortune, and just make a day trip. in other news. Sarah and I went back and rescued my car today. got a new knuckle and hub from the junkyard yesterday, had the new bearings pressed into it, picked it up this morning, and drove up. the threads on the lower strut-to-knuckle bolt were very screwed up from the pounding required to get it out of there on Saturday (my fault....should have left the nut on while pounding on it), so I drove it home with a zip tie holding the bolt in. kinda scary, but I got it home. I'll take some pictures of the old knuckle and hub tonight or tomorrow.....it's some impressive carnage :eek3:
I guess the MNSubaru part will have to be taken out...and this fight is over...its pictures from now on...it was going good for a bit
Chux, I apologize on behalf of me and bee for the fireworks. **** got a little out of hand in bed that night. Just please stop blaming the drunks for it....
I'll admit, a couple minor things got out of hand. Maybe those three bricks of bottle rockets we brought wasn't the best idea. One went a little further than the rest and it went out onto the course, so my bad. I didn't light any inside since they stink, and nobody's cabin should smell like that. I can't count on everyone having that kind of foresight though, especially when you throw a little bit a booze in the mix. Saturday night I didn't do it real big since I knew I had to be on my way at a decent time, but I did have a few so I couldn't be woken up by someone who was. I felt bad for Ryan in the morning since he said he didn't get a lick of sleep that night. The party cabin was definitely not as ridiculous as last year. Even then, its a far cry from the shenanigans at parties when I was a freshman/sophomore. As a group, I think we keep it pretty reasonable considering how diverse the crowd is. All in all, yes there's a few things that could be worked on. From what I observed though, everyone had a good time and the issues were fairly minor. Nothing was stolen, as far I know, and nothing was broken or vandalized out of malice or straight stupidity. I even got to see how well a Legacy can do in FWD, but the joke was on Kyle and I in the end. I can't wait until next year.
appreciated, but you didn't do anything to offend me. I quite enjoyed your antics also, I'm not blaming "the drunks" for anything. only a few people did anything that I saw that was really extremely out of hand. I don't know who they were. also, glad Dan mentioned stuff being stolen. I forgot to mention that I'm fairly sure someone took at least one quart of oil. I had a box of it that I didn't want flying around the back of my car so I left next to my tools and other spare fluids outside. the box had been moved, it's got 5 quarts in it now....and I'm pretty sure it had 6 or 7 when I came up. another thing that I'm not terribly pissed about, I would have gladly given them out had I been asked......but that didn't happen
Hahaha the pics Some people are surely so uptight they must **** diamonds. I'm following some of you bastards around :\ Wasn't Rich himself helping with fireworks in the cabin last year? If all you have to bitch about in life is a bottle rocket in a cabin and lights being turned on. Life is pretty ****ing gud, so count your ****ing blessings cause worse things happen to better people everyday
That's only because he had enough Jag in him to kill an small elephant. Dirtbike through the fire was my all time favorite memory of the last Ice Races!
Hey, sorry for some of the fireworks i might have been loud climbing up your deck trying to get away... O and i saw a bunch of people running on your deck and knocked over the box of oil so i put it all back in the box for you so there shouldnt be any missing... unless someone stole some
