I was wondering since the cabins are almost full is tent camping allowed? As long as its not cold (below minus 40) I could just pitch my tent and be snug!
its not too bad camping in a tent. I've done it when its -15 with a -50 wind chill. I used to do it all the time
If you know how to do winter camping it wouldn't be too bad, I'd say as long as your tent isn't orange and cone-shaped you should be fine. Better wait for Rich to chime in though since it's his place.
If I don't have the right equipment for winter camping, then nobody does. LOL I lived in Ely for 10 years and spent most of my time in the BW from Sept. till March. Best living I ever did! Sure miss it. I am now stuck in cheeseheadville. Nothing but corn fields around here.

if we are full you can camp, I wouldnt recomend it but its up to you some people like to drink and i know I wouldnt feel safe
