I will check with topher, I havnt received his deposit. If hes not comeing there will be a couch spot in #3
this will be my first year. is there any open space on someones floor or couch? if not, i can always sleep in my car. ive had to do it before, not too bad haha. is the cost for the rooms? or actually attending the event? if there is a fee even if im just attending, then sign me up, i get paid next week
There is some floor space but its very limited, if you want a spot paypal me the deposit and I will put you down. There is no fee for just attending, I added the cost of gas etc to the room fee.
yea there is a good chance i will come up on Thursday some time too, but i wont know for sure till closer to the races.
Our buddy decided to pass....he may try come if there is a 2nd one this year...Thanks for letting me know though!!
no problem. whatever you think is reasonable for me to contribute to the cabin payment let me know. unless its a set $40 a night no matter where you sleep, then thats fine. either way ill take the couch. its much better than getting up in the middle of the night to warm up my car several times so i dont freeze haha. thanks again -Tommy
:laugh: forgot to mention, my girlfriend won't be coming this year, so I won't be taking the room. and I will be coming up sometime Friday. did I send you a deposit yet? if not, I'll get you one this week. and put me on the waiting list for a single bed in a quiet cabin if possible, otherwise floor is fine.
just curious if the list on the first page is up to date? bedroom #2 in cabin #1 still open for me and the wife?
if possible ide like to be moved to loud cabin, however if this is not an option its not that big of a deal

Yea last year we/I were/was watching the ice thickness down to the last week and day. Having NEVER driven any car on a lake before I was a bit concerned about the ice. I think a lot of people here were worried about the ice in the weeks leading up to this event. Keep us posted Rich. Sounds like we will have a bit more ice this year.
its supposed to in the low teens all week for high's. the lake took a little longer to freeze this year but its looking alot better than last year.
Nice. i know exactly where that is. Ill have to see about getting time off of work. Still have room open?
