2008 Mn subaru Ice race (Jan 11th-13th)

we got 3inches of snow last night and it was 6 below this morning. we are supposed to get around 6inches tonight and tomorrow

 

awesome! thats good news! get that lake freezing!

 

as soon as I get a new air filter for the rx1 Im going to be out there riding

 

w00t. glad someone is getting some snow. you better make sure some is left for when we get up there in january.

tempting... not sure if I could make it this time... new job, tight budget.. yada yada... we will see... there may be some hand raisers the weeks leading up so who knows...

 

hand raising will be at a low due to the paying a deposit ahead of time. Nate you should come up... Hell if you want you can crash on the floor in our room if it means you will make it up..

 

all that squeeling and oooh ahhs may scare me or excite me which scares you.. ha ha

I may be out of this... I will see later on... I have to check finances... not doing side business and not having my shop anymore means no hidden cashflow at the moment.. ha ha

it has been snowing since about 830am here and been going at it all day.

so hows the ice doing? i know all this damn snow will slow down the ice formation a bit. i know we have gotten about 15in or more in the last few days.

Rich I wasn't there last year, so what should we bring as far as supplies? Food, booz, games?

i just realized I have no school on fridays so I really want to go now

 

it is a ton of fun. will be nice this year as it looks like there will be enough snow to actually make a track.

 

On Saturday I will have a fish Fry and we cook sausage on a bonfire on the lake. Otherwise people just bring their own food for the other meals, pizza,chips or whatever. And bring lotsa Jag and redbull

 

I can probably get you a couch. otherwise there are 2 or 3 floor spots left.
