2008 MNSOC Toys For Tots Toy Drive and Cruise

Just to add to this I am down in the rochester area one to 2 times a week for work. I am more then happy to grab toys when I am down there.

Steph, I am not trying to rain on your parade, just offering help that wont cost us gas money. (it is my way of making my company contribute. lol)

My boss put up a sign for this at work, so maybe my coworkers will make a few contributions also. These would be dropped off at Minnetonka Subaru along with mine on either the 18th or 19th

Well, I work at a beauty store part time and we get alot of younger girls in there buying makeup, nail polish, hair things and that sorta stuff. Bath and body works has small gift sets. Probably things like that. (???)

this is very helpful. It doesn't say anywhere on that site that makeup and bath gift sets are not allowed - so I think that's perfectly acceptable. You can call the organization to get clarification, too, if you want

 

I have a box at work that has a few donations. I'm glad I reached out to my co-workers. they're into it.

2 big grocery bags of toys were on my desk when I got in this morning!

My girl is getting some donations from her co-workers as well. I have 20 toys as of now, and I havnt bought mine yet or recieved all the donations from people that said theyre going to donate.
This stuff makes me get in the spirit.

 

Looks like at least a couple of my co-workers will be participating also, which is good, cuz I can't afford many toys

Who's in for breakfast after this? Fat Nat's would be perfect once we're done, but I'll need to call them beforehand to let them know we'd be coming so they can clear us a spot. They're busy as hell on weekends.

 

Given that we're starting at 10am, one would think it would be better to do breakfast ebfore or lucnh after.

 

I'll be there by myself with the tribeca!!!! got plenty of room for toys.

 

We've got a small collection of goodies that we'll be packing into the Forester.

This sounds like an awesome first outing with the subby people. Me and the family will definitely be there!! I have a 12 year old daughter and a 10 myear old son I think I will have them pic something out.

I will be at Firestone on Friday to collect toys from people who can't make it. I will not be able to go on Saturday either

So if you can't make it Sat, please try to bring your toys to FS - we will have a box for collecting them.

Church Car Care - 3rd Saturday of every month we help families in need. Car Care is held at Victory Auto (Firestone type garage) in Brooklyn Park. Families that need work done on their cars but cannot afford the repair at a typical repair shop turn to us. They only need to pay for parts (at wholesale cost) and we provide the free labor.

The group is comprised of approximately 5-7 volunteer mechanics. We will do a whole variety of repairs from the basics to the complicated.

It's our way of reaching out to the less fortunate and helping where we can.

 

Cant wait, I got some garland for my snowboard rack. I know its cheezy, but I dont care.
