    I used to do this, or something similar. Free oil changes for single mothers and the elderly around this time of year.

    Katie and I went to Toys-R-Us last night and spent over $200, keep in mind that we (more Katie than I) are donating to more than one toy drive this season.

    Both decided that the kids need toys mores than we need toys.

    The idea is, a cruise for a good cause. We all get together roll in a big pack like the Lax cruise have fun and drop off toys for the kids.

    Hey Tuxy, I don't think that candy toys are allowed (the site says no food items)
    But if you want to donate them anyway, TFT will actually sort them out at their facility, and send them to a place that DOES accept them, so either way, it's for a good cause :)

    I really wish you would have let me play with the sled last night though.
    I just wanted to test it to make sure it worked!

    anyway, I bought stuff to dress up my car today. So I hope some of you are doing that as well! this is gonna be great.:)

    Good luck with those, if they are the 12.99 Antler and Red Nose pack from Target. They will fly right off the car at highway speeds. I lost an antler a couple weeks ago.

    I think there were about 17 or 18 cars that met up and made the drive together. I think it was a good turnout. Everyone made it there safely.

    Great turn out everyone. Seriously, we did well. Thanks to everyone who braved the nasty weather to deliver some cheer to the less fortunate, and thanks to everyone that donated toys, even if you couldn't make it.

    I was given a Toys for Tots Marine Corps coin which I plan to attach to a plaque and have it engraved MNSOC Toys For Tots 2008, and I'll put the picture attached below on it too.

    Thanks again everyone for the great turn out. We're definately doing this again next year.

    No pics of the pile of toys, it was much easier to just haul them up individually since the snow was coming down kinda hard. Plus, it was more fun to have a pile of poeple unload a pile of gifts at the truck.
