    Fine work, gentlemen (and women).

This should become an annual tradition thingy -- and if so, maybe announce it a bit earlier (wife & I donated a ****load of toys to the same cause earlier in the week).

Inlaws in Packerland!? That's exactly where I was, lol.

Anywho, thanks to all that participated. This is the kind of stuff that car clubs should do. I feel all warm and fuzzy now ;)

AFAIK. as long as something has all of the required information for a check (routing number, number/written value, signature etc...), it is valid and can be taken to a bank. They might not be so happy though.

Sounds like it was a great turn out, I just couldn't justify dragging the kids out in the weather, I will be donating the toys we got still.

I understand this is a super old thread but I've noticed lots of end of summer and clearance sales at target walmart etc...And started thinking that It would be nice to buy more stuff for my dollar and stock up now.

Just an fyi as I hope we are gonna do this as a group again. I was really impressed how well we did last year and would love to see an even bigger turn out this year.

This was an awesome event last year. I'd love to do it again too!

Plus the looks we got as a big caravan of (mostly) hood scoops was priceless.

anyone want to make a new thread about this? I doubt that using the one from 2008 is going to help anyone.

I've sent a message to Kare-11 for Saturday December 19th for the 8-10am newscast. Similar to last year, we'll go the weekend before Christmas on a weekend.

I'm going to make an official posting about date/time/location and such and post up some more information there.
