I pumped up with race gas last week, reset my ECU, and performed a vishnu reset right after. I hope it worked or else I'll only be in the high 13's. ...only. White Bear Ave and 94 in the parking lot of BP is fine with me. I'll do my best to make it. Time Trials begin at 9:00 AM. To beat the 2nd half of the rush, I say the group gather there and leave at 7:15 AM. I'm a slow driver so maybe I'll maintain the speed limit +/- 10 MPH. We'll discuss who'll lead that morning. Stragglers will have to venture out there on their own or turn back home. And if the weather is too wet, I'm going home. Dress warm, bring your racing helmet(s) and $40, AND PLEASE BUCKLE UP!
So I just called Jennifer Anderson from Rockfalls Raceway. She says the track is still open for sunday but will update more on sat and call early sunday before you come. Chance of rain UPDATE 30%.
Alright so you guys are meeting at the BP right off of White Bear. You guys will leave around 7:15am???
I'm looking forward. I've never ran or really launched the car before, so give me some pointers guys.
Shush! I am going through hell. Looks like my car will be out for the next week or so because I cancelled my order. Just checked the weather. Update now is 80% Chance of rain. Looks like no rockfalls.
You sure you are looking at Sunday and not today? Everywhere I've looked says mid to upper 40's for the high and 30% chance of rain. I'm still waking up early Sunday... if its raining it'll be just like a snow day... elementary school style.
Yes, I usually wait to see the forecast on Saturday evening If it looks good, then it's a go If not, back to tux's place for free blow and hoes
Hm, seems like the guys are gonna go tomorrow, hooray from weather.com 6am, partly cloudy, 29f 7am, partly cloudy, 30f 8am, partly cloudy, 33f 9am, sunny, 36f 10am, sunny, 39f 11am, sunny, 41f 12pm, partly cloudy, 42f 1pm, partly cloudy, 43f 2pm, partly cloudy, 44f 3pm, few showers, 44f <-
Sounds like it's a GO. I suggest each driver print their own map in case they become separated from the group.
Interesting it was. And hot, too! I think the motto of the day is best described as, "what happened @ Rockfalls, stays at Rockfalls."
Sorry Pete, didn't get back to ya! It was a pretty interesting day, LOL. I'll let the others explain it. But it was good to see the subies have some fun.
MacGuyver Fuji ftw! Hope it gets fixed soon. I was cutting 1.7-1.8 60 foots all morning while I was figuring out the shift points. By the time I got it down it was noon and the traction sucked... couldn't get better than a 1.95. Best time was 13.2 at 106 with a 1.9 60ft. Couldn't put it all together and just couldn't drive for **** today. Didn't think I'd be that hungover but oh well, there's always next year. Lee's neon sucks lol. Couldn't even tell it was turbo! No, it's been a while since I've driven a 2.0 wrx... let alone a stock one... forgot that shifting at 6.5k doesn't work so well. I also botched the 1-2.
Yes, it was awesome!!! I am now able to drive her like I used to again. I thinks I need some better rear axles. Picked up another axle from Fobia, installed it and running again. Too much POWER!!!
got a 14.1 with a 2.0 60ft. eh, i was happy with it. wanted to break into the 13's but didnt get to and it just seems like we were just getting worst and worst
Sounds like you guys all had fun should have went with you guys. I still is the faster one! hahahah j/k
actually, yes that we know of. Fastest subie? I think Pha & Sheen was, iirc. Both were 13.2, btw, that was a good race too, pha vs sheen
with a 2.4 60 ft? You need more POWA lol Pha's car is fast and he drove the doors off it our second race.
