my turbo is only good for around 18lbs, so somewhere around 350hp, the block is closed deck and can handle over 40lbs.the guy who built it has a 30r on his and he is making a little over 600hp
I tried to do some plowing today and there is alot of slush. I plowed a road out a 1/2 mile, im going to wait a while untill the slush freezes some before I try again. The slush is alot less than last year, I should be able to get 1 nice course.
it shouldnt be as bad. no one has driven where im going to plow so there are no tracks to freeze. there was over a foot of slush last week and only a few inches now. So hopefully that is gone in a week
we have about 3 feet of snow and a foot of slush on the lake. It took me a few hours just to get the boat landing and a little trail plowed out a 1/2 mile. The good news is that when I went for a ride today the slush stops the farther you go out. So I was able to make a nice course with the snowmobile, im going to let it freeze good for a few days then pull a groomer over it to smoothe it out. And them after it freezes real good I will start plowing it. I will do my best to make the course alot better than last year, my Dad is going to talk to my neighbor this week who has a grader and see if he can come out a couple days before and make it nice and wide. So thats the update for now.
only 1 slush spot right now, but it should freeze tonight when its -20 again. other than that it looks good for how much slush and snow is out there.
I may not make this.... I am waiting to see.... I will be spending about $6K the week before on my workshop getting the insulation and sheet-rocking done... fingers crossed that I still will....
yep... let me see... not insulate my garage and got o ice races instead... hmmmm... you win... ice races it isnt.... and hand raising is when people say yeah I will do it and never pay or come through... I was one of the first to pay my deposit... and sometimes more important things come up then driving around on a frozen lake...sorry if my priorities are a little different... makes me realize that I may make the right decision..
30x40 with 12-16ft steeple ceilings.... $4200 for insulation, $1600 sheet-rocked... considering we arent using cheap crappy insulation from Lowes or HD, but the same stuff we used in our house (spray in foam) more expensive now but long term will save me poop loads on heating costs.... it isnt so bad.. seeing as it is about $2k cheaper then the nearest bid... any ways not to get into my topic... I am so far still coming but Id rather say hey I wont be going to the ice races then be one of the people who starts a thread saying I need to sellmy car cause I cant afford XXXX and XXXXX... and priority is something I cna use as a business then a weekend of sliding around thats all... nothing more nothing less... cause the $100 for accomodation is the beginning.. with gas and food it turns into a $200-$300 weekend and I dont drink ha ha ha ps Rich... that snow is looking good.... you may have to take a week off to plow.. ha ha ha
ah, ok that makes sense than, your shop is bigger and taller than mine and your not doing it your self. Maybe my area is different, but the spray in insulation is considerably cheaper than "traditional" insulation" but i digress... back on topic...
its spray foam not the spray in cellulose so then they also have to slice off the bulges.. ow sounds painful... ha ha Merry Christmas Rich, Karen and family
pics--testing out the track We were testing out the track today It has 3 really nice sweeping corners. Here's some teaser pics:
You do tuning stuff don't you---would you be able to tinker around with my car a bit when you're up so I can get it running more efficiently?? I think my tune from the summer is pretty much garbage. Or if anyone else would be able to help out it'd be much appreciated
Sure, although I can't promise much with all the beers and ice racing (and having the GF with). I'll certainly be bringing my laptop, so feel free to shoot me a PM with details on your current issues and mods and etc.
Is there going to be any people caravaning from the cities? My car's been fussy on long drives lately and I'd be down for traveling in a group.
