both. Andrew and I will be leaving early thursday. we will be driving somewhat slow as I'll be towing my car
all you gota do is turn her boost down shes spikeing to 24lbs and max boost was set at a little over 20, the rest of the tune looks good for now
I think you are going to be disappointed I drove the Forester which has blizzaks and it wasn't even remotely close to handling as nice as my car with the nokians. I have the bigger turbo this year and was afraid that would be a disadvantage on the ice but it didn't seem to affect my performance negatively at all yesterday when I went out for a few runs. The only thing that will hold me back will be all of the turbo lag that I have. I am used to it now but I have to hit it just right before the corners so it will kick in when I enter the corner. It's a blast though and I can't wait for everyone to come
Yeah, you rocked it pretty good last year Rich has been working hard on the course trying to push snowbanks in on the corners so there won't be an ice wall to hit at every corner. He has a lot of plans and ideas that he wants to get done within the next few weeks. He wants to extend the course he already made, make a circle track and try to make another track over in the bay where we had that long track last year--but this all depends on how much more snow we get. He's doing what he can to make it a good event for everyone. Now we just need to get some more Polish sausage for the roast and catch some more fishies for the fish fry!

well maybe i can come up next weekend and help rich out with workin on the track i kinda need a little vacation..
the only thing I aint looking forward too is the drive up and back... just did the half way one this weekend... got a check engine light ont he way back tonight after getting '91' Premium in Biwabik.... disconnected the battery at the next fill up '92' Shell and the cruise worked again, check engine light gone... and got way better mielage... this year I think I am bringing some gas cans to fill up down here
Yes, I am not looking forward to the drive there and back either.... more the back then there. on the way up I am excited to get there and on the way home, I just want to be home.... But I am going to ask for that friday off and hope to come up friday am. also have to check with beths work schedule. Once I know when I will be leaving I will start a friday morning sw departure caravan thread. I always prefer to travel with at least one other on the way there and back. exspecially on the way back, who knows what happned to the car on the ice.....
we got 4-5 inches of snow last nighy and 25mph wind, some spots on the course have 5 foot drifts. I plowed for 3 hrs and when I was done it was half blown over again. But atleast this stuff is fluffy
No problem guys^^ I just plowed the lake again! I added about a half mile to it with a bunch of corners to make it difficult. The course looks perfect right now so we are going to tear it up Thursday there will be around 4-5 cars out, so if anyone is bored and wants to take a road trip Thursday-Friday you are more than welcome to come.
That's a good deal. I know I can clean up after myself. So, anyone else interested in going up thursday and coming back on friday? Carl, need any help fixing your car so you could go?
I think jeff(wrxinator) is comeing up, he will be staying at my house. If no one else wants to come you can just stay at my house.
I dont think it is a matter of nobody "wanting" to come. I know I do, but I have to go help my parents get their new house ready to move into this coming weekend.
if im coming up solo i will be leaving thur after work, if my friend comes with i wont leave till fri(hopefully morning) oh i cant friggin wait:biggrin:
