Pfft, this type of thing is what mudflaps are for. Plus, if I demolish my Rally Armors, I could then order up some super special Gridlocked mudflaps.
so are mine..... meh Foresters can go through snow... ha hah a qoute this for laughter in 2weeks time
It looks like I might be heading up to the Ice race for the day. YAY! My flaps will be remaining on. They have been on my car for the previous 3 or 4 ice races I have been to and have never had a problem (although I might it fewer snow banks than some people ;-) )
^HAHA! Grandmas are pretty crazy drivers, I would be afraid if I were you. Might be time to move this to the trash talk thread
do we have to stop in if we are paid in full already??? I am sure we will anyways but just wondering.
2 days ago it was a foot of slush, I pulled a groomer over it yesterday and where I drove it froze nice. Today I widened it some and its looking alot better. If that track doesnt look good by Monday im going to try to plow another one, it will be small but if you would see how much snow we have you would understand.
can you get us some pics of the current track and walls?? I am curious to see how much snow you guys have!!
its not slushy anymore, I pulled a groomer over the slushy areas so its not too rough. I will take the plow out on Tuesday and smoothe it out.
damnit! ive never been up there when the track was nice, Seems like the track is always nice the 2nd ice race.
The snow is up to the bottom of the stop sign on the top of the road from the snowplow. Virginia & Hibbing are an hour south of here and driving in town is horrible because you can't see if any cars are coming. Add another 12+ inches of snow to these pictures:
definitely. I've always made the mistake of doing the whole weekend the first trip, and a day on the second. not this year!
Max's car.....it might make it started the evening with the engine/tranny on the floor (and not together)... then: left the driveshaft in it, left the linkage bolted to the tranny. dropped the tranny xmember, and threaded the whole unit in as one piece. lined the driveshaft up as we put everything in. FYI. motor mounts CAN be mounted both ways. and flipping one around with the engine in the car is a pain.
So, question???? Could i come up on friday morning, have some fun on the track and hang out for the day and then i will head to my grandmas, so i wouldn't be staying the night or coming back on saturday.... would this be an ok plan and what (if anything) would i have to pay?
this looks like it might suck for photographs due to the huge snow walls lol. rich, will there be spots cleared out for people to spectate from? or a spot to park a truck so I can stand higher up to take pics when we're doing the timed runs?
oh, i guess i didn't read down quite that far Could i snag that last florr space in cabin 5 for friday night only?
damn part time job scheduled me both fri and sun even after i put in my time off request 2 months ago, oh well if i cant get rid of the shifts i gues i will get rid of the job cause the ice racorz come first!!!
